I find that a lot of my new Human Hair Extension client ask me the same question about how to best brush out their new hair, so I figured that it would be a good post and you will also be able to find it in my tips section.
My favorite brush for Human Hair Extensions is the Denman brush which is two thirds boar bristles and one third plastic tips, which are excellent for detangling. The boar bristles actually reduce the static electricity in your hair when you brush it. They also smooth down the microscopic scales on the strands of hair, which helps give a smooth finish to your hair. The brushing in general stimulates more blood flow to the scalp, which re-energizes your hair and accelerates growth.
When brushing, divide your hair into two to four sections depending on how long or how thick your hair is. Take each section holding the hair firmly in the middle of each section starting at the bottom of the hair shaft brush towards the ends gently. Keep brushing, moving up the hair shaft until you have detangled the whole section.
Brushing your hair is also very necessary before you wash and condition your hair. While conditioning your hair in the shower, run a wide tooth comb through your hair to ensure that any remaining little tangles are worked out of your hair.
When you have Hair Human Extensions, be sure to remember that your natural hair is holding on to your Human Hair Extensions. When brushing out a tangle, make sure that you grab onto the extension just below where your own hair is bonded to your Human Hair Extension so that you don’t pull out the extension. To get a tangle out, use a small comb and work out the knot with short small strokes.
