Here on Union Street, we have Soul Cycle, Equinox, Crunch and several other Yoga and Pilates studios… We have Lulu Lemon and Lorna Jane… People on Union Street workout!!!
We all try to look our best no matter what we are doing. Part of everyone’s routine usually includes some form of working out. So, if you have Human Hair Extensions, what do you do with your hair so that it looks wonderful after you are done working out? When exercising you want to make sure of three things.
- It I important to make sure you are comfortable and not tugging too hard on your Human Hair Extensions, because that will also mean you are tugging on your natural hair. We don’t want that because it could damage your hair and pull out the bonds in your Human Hair Extensions.
- It is important to use a soft fabric hair tie or band. Because your hair is likely to get wet or damp when you work out, anything rubber (like rubber bands) or firm (like clips or bobby pins) that will put pressure or tension on your hair could cause micro fractures in your hair strands. These micro fractures can cause your hair to break when you brush it or tangle when fractures rub together. Also, when pulling you hair back before working out, it is best if your hair is dry; this will also help prevent your hair from getting damaged.
- Keep your Human Hair Extensions away from your face and the bonds covered. My suggestions, especially after your Human Hair Extensions have just been installed, is to wear your hair in a low back or side braid and use a loose cotton head band to keep your hair away from your face. Once the Human Hair Extensions grow out at bit you can start putting your pony tail up higher on your head. But, always make sure you are not tugging too hard on your Human Hair Extensions.
